As it happened: Multiple fire engines tackle house fire in Lower Bourne

Multiple fire appliances rushed to a house fire in Lower Bourne, south Farnham, on Thursday afternoon.

The Herald first received reports of the blaze in Pine Ridge Drive at around 2.45pm and seven fire appliances helped extinguish the fire.

Firefighters confirmed no-one was in the house when the fire took hold, with no injuries reported.

But the house, a large property behind a gated drive, is believed to have been destroyed.
