Hindhead Tunnel closed following serious accident on A3 near Thursley

Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious accident on the southbound A3 near the Hindhead Tunnel with an air ambulance in attendance.

Southbound traffic around Thursley has been at a standstill for nearly half an hour with more than a dozen emergency vehicles in attendance.

The northbound tunnel has also been closed following the incident around 6.50pm. More follows.
