Alton couple celebrate their emerald wedding anniversary

Having spent their early life on the other side of the world, Ross and Christina “Tina” Anderson celebrated their emerald (55th) wedding anniversary at BrendonCare in Alton, where Tina is a resident.

Tina met Ross in 1966 at a university dance in New Zealand. The couple, now both 75, were married by Tina’s father at the bride’s local church in Wellington. Their secret to a long and happy marriage is : “Tolerance – and marrying the right person!”
