Binsted Recreation Ground gets new water refill station

Binsted Parish Council celebrated World Refill Day on June 16 by launching its new water refill station at Binsted Recreation Ground.
It also gave recreation ground regulars water bottles by Chilly’s, a World Refill Day sponsor.
Rowledge CE Primary School presented a water bottle to pupil William for his energy-saving efforts at the school, while Binsted CE Primary School awarded one to pupil Emily, who won its Eco Club poster competition about reducing single-use plastic.
Bottles also went to Cycle Alton and other users including the tennis, cricket, croquet and football clubs.
