St Ives school in Haslemere holds Harry Potter festival

The week started with fancy dress, with an array of Harry Potter characters roaming the halls.
The science laboratory at St Ives was turned into ‘the potions room’ where the children became bubble technologists creating the best ‘hubble bubble’ mixture.
In their sports lessons the children were split into Ravenclaw and Gryffindor houses and competed against each other in a competition.
In forest school, the children transformed branches into magic wands and enjoyed running around the forest casting spells.
The children also spent the day with Paul Stephenson, who worked on the special effects of The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire, and the children learnt how scenes are put together on a movie set.
