Firefighters had a rude awakening early on July 11 as a stolen motorbike was set alight by arsonists at a Bordon beauty spot.

A crew from Bordon Fire Station used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze after being called to Jubilee Park at 3.46am.

The motorbike, which suffered 100 per cent fire damage, was stolen from a property on Woodside Close. Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Hampshire Police quoting 44230277579. 

A suspect small fire at Bordon Inclosure was also extinguished by firefighters late on Saturday, July 8.
