School pupils go batty for teacher’s spooky Hallowe’en-themed wedding day

Year Two teacher at St Matthew’s, Blackmoor, Miss Soal raised her class back from their half-term holiday for her spooky-themed wedding day last week.
Reverend Alice Wood returned to take the service at St Matthew’s Church and staff and family filled the aisles.
The children dressed as bats and designed outfits for the wedding party, and afterwards waved Miss Soal (now Mrs Ransom) off from school.
There was even a tortoise wearing a pumpkin hat!
