Teachers from Eggar's School in Holybourne abseil down Spinnaker Tower
Paul Coates

The house heads at Eggar’s School in Holybourne abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise more than £1,500 for Cancer Research UK.
Lucy Tomkinson (Montgomery House), Matt Farris (Austen House) and Carly McCready-Williams (Spenser House) were proud to represent the school.
Mrs Tomkinson said: “I was absolutely terrified and my colleague Mr Farris overcame his fear of heights by taking on the challenge. Our colleague Mrs McCready-Williams was calm and collected in comparison. The three of us ultimately enjoyed the experience and feel very proud to have raised vital funds for a charity close to our hearts.”
