Alton trio clinch spot in national cross-country finals

TWO Year 7 pupils, Evangeline Richards and Bartie Jones, and Isla Lock from Year 10, have qualified for the national finals in the ISA Cross-Country Championships.

The Alton School trio will be competing in the independent schools’ showcase event in Nottingham this month.

They qualified after successful runs at the regional championships at Sherfield School.

Alton School had 27 senior boy and girl competitors in action, ranging from Year 7 to Year 11, their biggest squad for many years.
