Liss Athletic produce battling performance to earn point at Harvest

Liss Athletic produced a battling performance to come away from Harvest with a point in the Hampshire Premier Football League Senior Division.

Harry Stanbridge got the Blues off to the perfect start when his placed effort from the left found the opposite corner, however Dan Goodsell tapped home from close range midway through the half to level things up.

Harvest were reduced to ten men an hour in, and both sides had chances to win the game.

Theo Glazier went to ground when clashing with the Harvest goalkeeper late on, but appeals for a penalty were waved away by the referee. At the other end, Harvest found Lisskeeper Euan Brindley in fine form and a superbly-timed tackle from George Davy ensured they went home with a point.
